A-List Star Just Announced a Hollywood Tour and Fans Are Already

Persona #1 · Vol: 0

When Ryan Gosling stepped out of a black SUV on Sunset Boulevard Tuesday morning, nobody expected him to be holding a megaphone.

But there he was, in a rumpled linen blazer and aviators, announcing a twelve-city "Hollywood Behind the Velvet Rope" tour that will let fans walk the same soundstages, trailers, and backlot alleys that shaped the last three decades of film.

The tour, produced with Warner Bros. and a handful of independent studios, promises stops at the *Barbie* dreamhouse set, the *La La Land* Griffith Park bench, and a surprise location Gosling refused to name. "You'll know it when you see it," he teased, before climbing back into the SUV.

Tickets go on sale Friday, and presale codes leaked to fan accounts within hours.

Resale listings on StubHub already show front-row packages going for four figures, which is either a sign of genuine demand or another round of internet theater.

Fashion insiders are also buzzing about the merch.

Early mockups show a cream-and-gold varsity jacket with "LOT 47" embroidered on the sleeve — a nod to the studio gate Gosling reportedly walked through on his first audition.

If the jacket drops, expect it on every influencer by Labor Day.

Locals in Los Feliz and Hancock Park are bracing for tour buses on residential streets, and a few actors have quietly grumbled about their old haunts becoming photo ops.

Gosling's team says routes were negotiated with the city and cap at six buses per day.

What makes this different from the usual studio tram ride is the access.

Guests will step inside working soundstages during off-hours, meet a rotating cast of crew members, and reportedly get a peek at costumes from an unnamed 2026 blockbuster.

That last detail alone has the rumor mill spinning, with fans betting on everything from a *Dune* spinoff to a secret Marvel project.

Gosling, for his part, is leaning into the chaos.

He posted a grainy video of himself practicing the megaphone bit in a parking garage, captioned simply, "Rehearsal." It has 4.2 million views and counting.

The tour kicks off in Los Angeles in October, then hits Chicago, Austin, Atlanta, and six more cities before wrapping in New York in December.

VIP packages include a signed script page and a cocktail hour Gosling described as "very casual, very loud, very Hollywood." If you're planning to go, set an alarm for Friday.

If you're planning to complain about the buses, maybe set two.

The whole thing feels less like a tourist attraction and more like Gosling's love letter to the industry that made him — with a merch table.

Whether it lives up to the hype depends on whether fans get the intimacy the pitch promises or just another overpriced photo op.
