Todd Brzeziński figured he'd spend a Saturday sprucing up his garage door.
Two coats of "Copper Canyon," a warm burnt orange he'd spotted on a clearance shelf at a hardware store in Mesa, Arizona.
By Sunday night, his homeowners association had received eleven complaints, his Ring camera had captured a stranger filming his driveway, and a photo of his house was sitting at the top of a 40,000-member Facebook group called East Valley Neighborhood Watch.
The post that started it all came from an account named "Concerned Neighbor #4," who wrote: "Someone on Saguaro Court painted their garage door a color I can only describe as 'Cheddar Bay Biscuit.' Is this allowed?" The comment section hit 600 replies in under six hours.
